Fluid-induced vibration analysis of pipe based on the transfer matrix method and added mass, added damping analogy method

In this paper, the 14-equations of pipeline system were written as matrix forms in frequency domain with Laplace transformation and further solved by transfer method (TMM). Moreover, added mass damping models established combined TMM for decoupling investigated Turbulence-Induced Vibration (TIV) clamped-clamped pipe system. Firstly, feasibility analyzing responses water-filled pipelines free support boundary conditions mass, investigation TIV finished verify. Then Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) problems different flow velocities acquired. The results indicate that calculated frequencies agree well corresponding data yield from Galerkin method. And increasing velocity a decreased amplitudes due to effect fluid damping. Those research paper implied composed considered is validity accuracy response analysis pipeline.
